NOMINATIONS FOR THE CALIFORNIA SALMON COUNCIL
FOR THE 2007-2010 TERM OF OFFICE

It is time for nominations for the California Salmon Council. The Department is requesting nominations from organizations in the industry, as well as from individual fishermen and handler/receivers. For your information, a list of the current members and alternates of the California Salmon Council is below. Members and alternate members whose terms are expiring on March 31, 2007 and any vacant positions are shown in bold type.

Please notice that:
·                    Member Mike Stiller, Jack Carlson, Marlyse Battistella, and Mel Wickliffe are serving their first term in their respective positions and are therefore eligible for reappointment as a member or an alternate member.

·                    Alternate Members Larry Collins, Don Edwards, Michael Lucas and Shig Ohgami are eligible for reappointment as an alternate member or a member position.

The Board currently has eight expiring positions: two Vessel Operator members, two Vessel Operator alternate members, one Receiver member and one Receiver alternate member, and one Receiver-Exporter and one Receiver-Exporter alternate member. Commercial salmon fishermen or associations representing them may nominate commercial fishermen for the member positions and the alternate member positions. Receiver/handlers or associations representing them may nominate receivers for the member position and the alternate member position. Individual Vessel Operators or Handler/Receivers may nominate themselves for a position, if eligible.

You may pick up a nomination form at the office,
1370 Bodega Ave, Bodega Bay. Monday thru Wednesday, 9am to 12pm.

ANCHOR WINCH Needs to leave my yard. It came off my boat and would work on boat up to 45 feet. It free falls and is gear driven with a jack shaft. All offers considered
